For over 60 years, Pecheles Automotive has been committed to supporting non-profit youth, community, and civic organizations in Eastern North Carolina. Each year through our philanthropy arm, Pecheles Gives Back, we've been able to donate over $500,000 to local charities. As community partners, we recognize our ability to give back is due to the loyalty of our customers. Your commitment to our sales and service departments allows us to continue to make a large impact in this area. Some of the wonderful causes and organizations we support are listed below:

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain bgccp.com

  • Over the years, Pecheles Automotive has donated more than $1,000,000 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain and is a member of their Circle of Champions. The BGCCP have 17 club locations that provide a world-class club experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who enters their doors, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for their future, demonstrating good character and citizenship, and leading a healthy lifestyle. A few of the many programs offered include, Character and Leadership Development, Education and Career Development, Health & Life Skills, The Arts, and Sports, Fitness and Recreation.

  • Community Crossroads Center serves the homeless and those at risk of homelessness by providing safe housing, and assisting them in developing a long term plan that leads to self-sufficiency.

ECU Pirate Club ecupirateclub.com

  • Founded in 1931, the ECU Pirate Club is the fundraising arm of East Carolina University's Division I Athletics Program. The Pirate Club provides critical support to all ECU student-athletes.

The Pitt Community College Foundation develops partnerships and secures resources to support the mission of Pitt Community College and the success of its students. Pecheles Automotive Group has named a classroom in the Automotive Building to support a skilled workforce in eastern North Carolina. 
 
  • Pecheles Automotive is proud to have donated over $150,000 to Greenville Community Shelter (formerly known as Community Crossroads) throughout the years, including $50,000 towards the most recent capital campaign to build the new shelter.
  • The Learning Center will be used by Pitt Community College to provide Job Prep Classes to Greenville Community Shelter's residents, as well as others in the community who want to attend.  The classes will provide the students all the skills they may need to enter the workforce.  Some of the courses will include how to make a resume, how to handle job interviews, how to dress for a job interview, etc.They will also provide computer training, money management, parenting skills and many more skills needed to make a successful career and get permanent employment and housing.
